You can donate to the following: Tithes, General Offering, Scholarship, Building, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Holiday, Blessed Saintz, Biblical Pageant, Give to the Max, or Legacy Tree. You can make the selection to donate to “Other” and list it as one-time or to the ministry/activity you choose.
How does online donation work?
From the device of your choice, click on the “Donate Now” button to go to the donation page. Contributors can also click on the “Log-in to Give” and “One-Time Online Gift” headers to make a contribution. The hyperlink then takes them from Pilgrim Baptist Church website to a secure donation page.
Can I make a one-time donation?
Yes, you can. One-time donations require no profile or log-in. A contributor simply enters his or her name, address, payment method, payment amount and other information into required fields and then submits their donation.
Can I make a recurring donation?
Yes, you can. Recurring donations require a profile. On the first visit to the donation page, a contributor sets up an account with a password-protected profile by entering his or her name, address, payment method and other required information in order to process a recurring donation. Then, on future visits, the contributor simply logs in to make, change or view donations without the need to re-enter personal profile information.
Do I receive confirmation of my donation?
Yes, you do. Made available to donors is a printer-friendly confirmation page. Donors may also request an automatic email confirmation.
How are donations processed?
Donations are processed within 2 – 3 days and funds are electronically transferred to the Pilgrim Baptist Church giving account.
How is my donation received?
Pilgrim Baptist Church can view deposit reports confirming all donation activity. For security purposes, donor financial account information is masked.
What is Electronic Giving?
Electronic Giving is the term used to describe automatic methods for making contributions on a regular basis without the need to write checks, carry cash or prepare envelopes. Although Direct Debit Giving is the original and most popular form of electronic giving, the term is now widely used to describe Credit Card Giving, Debit Card Giving, and Online Giving.
How does electronic giving work?
Contributions are transferred automatically from your debit card, credit card, checking, or savings accounts to the church’s bank account.
How are my automatic contributions deducted and transferred when I use the EFT form?
When you completely fill out the form (including signature) and submit it to the church, contributions are then transferred through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) network. ACH is the same network already used by families to make mortgage, utility payments, or to receive patrol earnings and social security income.
What if I try electronic giving and don’t like it?
You can cancel your authorization at any time by notifying the church.
