Mid-Winter Board Meeting – January 14-15, 2017

Greater Friendship Baptist Church

Prayer Breakfast – 7:30 – 9:15 a.m., Saturday, January 14

The Women’s Auxiliary has been in charge of facilitating the Prayer Breakfast.  In addition to the excellent breakfast and the Intercessory Prayers, we will have a presentation by Health Partners around Mental Health, and we will have a Word from Rev. Dr. Ian D. Bethel, Pastor of New Beginnings Baptist Tabernacle.  We are asking for a small donation of $10 per person to support the ministry of the Women’s Auxiliary.  Tickets have been mailed to each church.  If for some reason you didn’t receive any or can’t find them – DON’T FRET – you can make your donation when you arrive.  However, please contact Sylvia Amos at 612-522-7508 or sylviaamos04@gmail.com or Gennett Jones at 763-381-4992 to confirm the number attending.  We are encouraging churches to have at least 10 members from your church participate.

Board Meeting – 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.

All Ministry/Auxiliary heads are to present their written report for the year, and plans for the upcoming year.  However, don’t plan past August.  The election is in August during the Annual Session and will be held at Greater Friendship.  Most of the churches have registered.  Churches that are not registered and paid will not be eligible to vote in the election.  Information was sent to all churches in regard to their standing.

Upworks/Union Gospel Mission/Ujamaa – presentation on services available at these agencies.
