The Deacon Alexander B. Jordan Scholarship is available to all graduating high school seniors who are members of Pilgrim, have been accepted at a college, university or trade school, completed the application form and are presently active members serving the church for at least one year. The initial scholarship is $1,000.  Students can receive an additional $1,000 every year while they are in school, providing they have a 3.0 grade point average at the end of their freshman, sophomore and junior years of college and those years are within four years of their high school graduation. Students must present a copy of their transcript along with proof of registration for the following year before funds are issued.  Postgraduate education is not included.

Every Spring monogrammed Bibles are given to members of Pilgrim Baptist Church who are graduating from high school. These Bibles are given in hopes that our members will continue to take God’s word with them wherever they go in life and always remember their church family will keep them in our prayers.
